NOTE: Juniors exceeding max class weight may be shown in higher age class.  No animal may be showin in a lower age class than it's true age.

                                GENERAL TYPE - POINTS  30
BODY
- The body is to be compace, with well developed shoulders & hindquarters.  The depth of the body should approximately equal the width, & this should hold at the hindquaters, loin, rib section, and shoulders.  top body line should rise in a gradual curve from the base of the ears, to the center of the hips, & then fall in a smooth curve downward to the base of the tail.  The body is to have equal balance, with a slight taper from hips to shoulders.
HEAD & EARS - The head is to be medium full from base of ears to muzzle, with well filled face & jaws.  The neck is to be short.  Ears are to be in proportion to the size of the head & body, carried erece, & be evenly ticked to match body color.  Upper tips of ears are to show a distinct black lacing.
   Faults - Excessive dewlap.

EYES - Eyes are to be large, bright, bold with an alert expression.

FEET & LEGS - Feet & legs are to be straight, with medium fine bone.  The front feet & legs & the outside of the upper part of the ind legs are to be ticked with a uniform shade of gray, matching body color as nearly as possible.  The inside of the thigh & the tops of the hind feet are to be white with a blue under color.

FUR - Points 30: (Rollback)  Fur on the body is to be 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 inches in length; ideal 1 1/4 inches (A longer or shorter fur with density preferred over standard lenght lacking density).  Fur is to be very dense & of fine texture.  It is to be bright, smooth & glossy.  Fur should have rollback.
  Faults - Molt; hutch stain; fur shorter than 1 inch; fur showing a tendency towards wooly, harsh or wiry coat; fly-back fur.

COLOR - Points 30:  The undercolor is to be dark slate blue at the base, intermediate portion of pearl to be as light as possible, with top edge being a very narrow black band (base definitely wider than the intermediate portion);  above this is a very light band, brightly ticked with jet black gard hairs of uneven length.  Neck fur is to be light in color than the body, but strictly confined to the nape.  The chest is to be lightly ticked with a uniform shade of pearl, slightly lighter than the body.  The body color is to extend as far down the sides as possible.  Belly color, next to the skin is to be white or blue.  Outer or surface color is to be white.  Eye circles are to be well defined, narrow & light pearl in color.  Undrside of the tail is to be white.  Topside of the tail is to be black, interwpersed with white hairs.  Eyes - Eyes are to match, any color but pink is per missible.  Brown preferred.

UNDERCOLOR - Points 8:  Undercolor is to be dark slate blue.

RING COLOR & DEFINITION - Points 12: Intermediate color is to be light pearl, with black edging.

SURFACE COLOR - Points 15:  Surface color is to be wavy, with a ticked top coat
  Faults - Salt & pepper appearance; faded undercolor; narrow pearl, cloudy or smoky ring color; too light or dark surface color; white eye circles.
  D/Q from Competition - Solid white spot(s); extremely light or dark color, or mixed with brown patches; extreme brownish tinge in ring color; absence of ring color; pink eyes.
